Quietude ("the App") is a sleep and focus ambient music application developed as a personal project. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.
Information you provide: The App does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use it.
Information stored on your device: The App stores your song preferences (which songs you have enabled or disabled) locally on your device using Android shared preferences. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
Information collected automatically: The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers, usage data, and other information to serve relevant ads. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details on how this data is handled.
Google AdMob: The App displays banner and interstitial advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use cookies and device identifiers to provide personalised advertising. You can opt out of personalised ads through your device settings under Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation.
Supabase: Music and wallpaper content is streamed from Supabase cloud storage. Supabase may log standard server access logs (IP address, request time, file requested) as part of normal infrastructure operation. No personal data is transmitted beyond what is standard for any internet request.
The App requires an internet connection to stream music and wallpaper content from our servers, and to load advertisements. Without an internet connection the App will not function.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
The only data stored by the App is your song preferences, which are kept locally on your device. You can clear this data at any time by clearing the App's data through your device's Settings → Apps → Quietude → Clear Data.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
